High Priest and Prophet
Terry was born in the Willamette Valley where he grew up on a small farm and graduated from Cascade High School in Turner. He is a native Oregonian and has remained in Oregon his entire life.
He attended Oregon College of Education and Chemeketa Community College before joining the Oregon State Police as a Trooper. During his career he was stationed in Lincoln City, Salem, OSU, and Bend. After nearly 30years, Terry retired from the Department’s Special Operations Division as a Lieutenant.
After retirement, Terry spent the next 12 years working with the Center for Domestic Preparedness, in Anniston Alabama. There he taught first responders from throughout the United States and traveled extensively delivering programs.
Terry met his wife Debby, while stationed in Lincoln City, where they were married. They have three children and six grandchildren.
In 2003, Terry became a member of the Bend Masonic Lodge and joined the Central Oregon Shrine Club in 2004. He has been President of the Club twice and has been Lodge Secretary for over 8 years. He is also a member of the Shurtah Club.
Terry & Debby live in beautiful Central Oregon and both are responsible for the Shriners Run For A Child, 5k & 10k, held annually in Bend on the second Saturday of August. This is a fund raiser for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland.
